From download to your first stamp — the short version.
The first time you open the app, you pick Express (fast, trust-based, printed QR codes — ideal for coffee shops and other low-value, trust-based businesses) or Secure (cryptographically signed, needs a device at checkout — for when you need more control recording higher-value stamps and rewards).
This is the one decision that's locked in without a full reset — the setup guide below walks through which fits your shop.
Business name, stamps required for a reward, brand color and icon. All of this stays editable later — only the mode is locked in.
Express: they scan a QR code you've printed and taped to the counter. Secure: you tap a button on your device to generate their stamp.
Either mode needs the customer to have the free LoyaltyCards Wallet app first — and sharing it is even easier than printing a QR code: Tell a Friend is built right into this app (the person icon on your home screen), so you can show them a QR or send the link directly on the spot.
Card full? They show it to you (Express) or you scan it to confirm cryptographically (Secure) — same reward, either way.
